Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 19: The Department of Agriculture, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, has urged PM-KISAN beneficiaries whose e-KYC and/or Aadhaar seeding of bank accounts remain pending to complete the mandatory requirements at the earliest to avoid disruption in receiving benefits under the scheme.
Lists of beneficiaries with pending e-KYC or Aadhaar seeding have been displayed at the respective Gram Panchayats for information and necessary action.
Beneficiaries have been advised to visit their respective Gram Panchayats and check whether their names appear on the displayed lists. Those whose details remain incomplete have been asked to complete the required formalities without further delay.
According to the Department of Agriculture, beneficiaries who fail to complete the mandatory requirements within the stipulated period may face non-release of subsequent PM-KISAN instalments. They may also be liable for removal from the PM-KISAN beneficiary database.
The advisory applies to beneficiaries whose e-KYC has not been completed, as well as those whose Aadhaar details have not been seeded or linked with their bank accounts.
The e-KYC requirement can be completed through multiple channels. Beneficiaries may use the PM-KISAN Portal, the PM-KISAN Mobile App, or visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) to complete the process.
For Aadhaar seeding of bank accounts, beneficiaries have been advised to approach their respective bank branches and request that their Aadhaar details be seeded or linked to the relevant account.
The Department has also drawn attention to beneficiaries who may have completed e-KYC in the past but have not yet completed the Annual e-KYC for the year 2026–27.
Such beneficiaries have also been asked to complete the required e-KYC at the earliest to ensure that they remain eligible to receive benefits for the current year.
The move is aimed at ensuring that beneficiary records remain updated and that pending compliance requirements do not result in avoidable delays or disruptions in the release of PM-KISAN benefits.
Beneficiaries have therefore been advised to first verify their status through the lists displayed at their respective Gram Panchayats and then take the necessary steps depending on the requirement pending in their case.
Those with pending e-KYC can complete the process digitally through the designated PM-KISAN platforms or with assistance from a nearby Common Service Centre. Those whose Aadhaar seeding with their bank account is pending will need to contact their respective bank branch.
The Department has emphasised that beneficiaries should not delay completion of these requirements, as failure to do so may affect the release of future instalments and could lead to removal from the beneficiary database.
The advisory also places particular importance on the annual e-KYC requirement for 2026–27. Even beneficiaries who have previously completed e-KYC have been asked to ensure that the annual requirement for the current year has also been fulfilled.
With the lists already displayed at Gram Panchayats, concerned beneficiaries have been urged to check their names and take immediate action wherever e-KYC or Aadhaar seeding remains pending.
The Department of Agriculture has advised all concerned PM-KISAN beneficiaries to complete the required formalities at the earliest to avoid inconvenience in receiving benefits under the scheme.
