Diglipur, May 4: In a continued effort to bring governance closer to the people, a Camp Court was organized at the Gram Panchayat Hall in Radhanagar under the outreach initiative “Sampark Se Samadhan – Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore.” The programme aimed at directly engaging with villagers, addressing their grievances, and ensuring timely resolution of administrative issues.
The Camp Court was conducted under the chairmanship of the Assistant Commissioner of North Andaman, Diglipur, who was accompanied by the Tehsildar, Diglipur. The event witnessed active participation from elected representatives of the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) of Radhanagar Panchayat, along with a large number of local residents.
During the session, several important cases related to mutation, sub-division of land, surrender, and other revenue matters were taken up and disposed of on the spot. Officials also heard a range of grievances raised by villagers and PRI members, addressing concerns related to land records, administrative services, and local development issues.

The initiative reflects the administration’s focus on ensuring that government services are accessible even in remote areas, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances for official work. By holding Camp Courts at the Panchayat level, authorities aim to streamline processes and provide quicker solutions to longstanding issues.
Officials stated that such outreach programmes are essential in strengthening trust between the administration and the public. The direct interaction allows officials to better understand ground realities while enabling citizens to voice their concerns openly.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks extended to the Chair and participants for their active involvement. Residents appreciated the initiative, noting that it provided a convenient platform to resolve issues that would otherwise require multiple visits to government offices.
Following the Camp Court proceedings, the Assistant Commissioner conducted a field inspection of the Government Primary School, Radhanagar-I. The inspection was aimed at evaluating the functioning of grassroots-level service delivery systems, particularly in the education sector. During the visit, the condition of infrastructure, availability of resources, and overall academic environment were reviewed.
Officials emphasized that such inspections are crucial to ensure that public services are delivered effectively and that any shortcomings are identified and addressed promptly. The administration has been placing increasing importance on monitoring essential services at the village level to improve quality and efficiency.
The programme is part of a broader governance strategy to make administrative processes more transparent, responsive, and citizen-centric. By taking the administration directly to the villages, initiatives like “Sampark Se Samadhan” aim to bridge the gap between policymakers and the public.
Authorities reiterated their commitment to continuing such outreach efforts across different parts of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. They highlighted that ensuring speedy grievance redressal and efficient public service delivery remains a top priority.
With growing participation and positive feedback from local communities, the Camp Court model is emerging as an effective tool for grassroots governance. The administration expressed confidence that such initiatives will further strengthen public trust and contribute to inclusive development in remote island regions.
