JNRM Announces Final Admission Counselling for Remaining UG Seats

Date:

Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 6: Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programmes at Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM), a constituent college of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Islander Heartland Institution (NSCBIHL), a Deemed to be University, have one final opportunity to secure a seat as the institution has scheduled its third and final admission counselling for August 10 to fill the remaining vacant seats across various courses.

The final round of counselling will be conducted at JNRM, Sri Vijaya Puram, for admissions to vacant seats in different undergraduate programmes for the current academic session. Candidates who have applied online for admission have been advised to attend the counselling at the respective academic departments to be considered for admission.

According to the admission notification, candidates must report to the concerned departments by 8.30 am on the scheduled date of counselling. The institution has made it clear that candidates who fail to attend the counselling session at the specified date and time will not be considered for admission to the respective course. In such cases, the next eligible candidate from the merit list will be offered admission.

Applicants attending the counselling must carry all required original documents for verification along with one set of self-attested photocopies to be submitted during the admission process.

The documents required include the original Class 12 marksheet, which will be retained by JNRM, and the original Transfer Certificate (TC) or School Leaving Certificate, which will also be retained by the institution. Candidates must additionally produce the original Class 10 pass certificate for verification of date of birth.

Applicants claiming reservation or other eligible categories are required to produce the original category certificate, including Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PH), Ward of Central Government Servants/Ex-Servicemen, and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), wherever applicable.

Candidates have also been instructed to bring one passport-size photograph with a white background for completing admission formalities.

JNRM has advised all eligible applicants who have already submitted their online applications to attend the counselling session on time with the prescribed documents, as this is the third and final counselling for filling the remaining undergraduate seats. Attendance at the scheduled counselling is mandatory for consideration under the admission process, after which vacant seats, if any, will be offered to the next eligible candidates in the merit list.
