Date:

Sri Vijaya Puram, June 4: Applications for the four-year Integrated Programme in Education offered by Tagore Government College of Education, Sri Vijaya Puram, are now open for the academic year 2025-26. Under the revised NCTE Regulation 2014, candidates can apply for B.Sc. B.Ed. (Mathematics and Computer Science) and B.A. B.Ed. (English, Hindi, and History) via the online portal http://collegeadmission.andaman.gov.in starting June 5.

The integrated course is a dual-degree programme designed to prepare students as professional school teachers through a rigorous academic and practical framework spread over eight semesters. The structure includes foundational studies, subject-specific education, and a full internship programme. Students must have completed 10+2 in the relevant subject from a recognized board to be eligible. The last date to submit the online application is July 5, 2025.

Simultaneously, Andaman Law College, affiliated with Pondicherry University and recognized by the Bar Council of India, has also opened admissions for its five-year integrated B.A.LL.B. course with an intake of 45 seats. Aspiring law students can also access and submit their applications through the same online admission portal. No offline submissions will be entertained.

The application process for both programs reflects a shift towards streamlined, accessible digital education admissions across the islands. With education serving as a long-term pillar for regional development, such initiatives continue to strengthen opportunities for local youth.
