Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 31: Residents of Shaheed Dweep will have an opportunity to take revenue-related grievances directly to the district administration at a camp court scheduled at the Gram Panchayat Office, Neil Kendra, on October 31. The initiative is intended to bring the administration closer to residents and Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) representatives by providing a forum to submit complaints and supporting documents for consideration by the competent authorities.
The South Andaman District Administration announced the camp under its “Prashashan Aapke Dwar” initiative. The Assistant Commissioner, South Andaman, will chair the proceedings, which are scheduled to begin at 10 am.

The camp court will focus on grievances and issues concerning revenue matters raised by members of the public and PRI representatives in Shaheed Dweep. Those attending can place their concerns before the administration for examination and appropriate action.
The administration has asked residents and PRI representatives to attend the hearing and submit their grievances along with relevant supporting documents, wherever applicable. The documents are expected to facilitate examination of individual cases and help the competent authorities determine the necessary course of action.
The arrangement provides a designated opportunity for people to bring revenue-related concerns to the district administration without having to rely solely on routine channels for submitting grievances. However, the press release does not specify the categories of revenue cases that will be taken up or whether applications will be resolved on the spot.
The district administration has urged all concerned residents and PRI representatives to make use of the camp court. The hearing will be held at the Gram Panchayat Office in Neil Kendra, with the Assistant Commissioner overseeing the proceedings.
