A 42-year-old man was found dead in the premises of a local shop at Garacharma on Tuesday morning, triggering a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The deceased has been identified as Shiva Raj, who reportedly worked at the establishment and also resided on the premises. According to preliminary information, local youths noticed the incident and immediately alerted emergency services.
Police officials said the body was discovered inside the shop during the morning hours. Witnesses at the scene informed authorities that the man appeared to have been alone at the time of the incident.
