Sri Vijaya Puram, August 18: Candidates seeking admission against vacant degree-level Engineering, Architecture and B.Pharmacy seats reserved at mainland institutions will have an opportunity through the CSAB NEUT-2026 Spot Round Counselling scheduled for August 25 in Sri Vijaya Puram. The counselling will begin at 10 am onwards at the Seminar Hall of Tagore Government College of Education (TGCE), Sri Vijaya Puram.

The allotment will be based on JEE Main Rank 2026 and the category-wise vacant seats available for Engineering and Architecture at the time of counselling. Candidates have been advised to check the CSAB NEUT-2026 Information Brochure for eligibility requirements and academic qualifications applicable to degree-level Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy courses.

Eligible and interested candidates must submit the required documents to the Development-IV Section (Higher Education Section), Secretariat, Sri Vijaya Puram, by August 24, up to 3 pm.

The document submission must include a photo identity proof, along with the JEE Main 2026 admit card and score card issued by the National Testing Agency for Engineering and Architecture candidates. These two documents are not applicable to B.Pharmacy candidates.

Applicants must also submit their Class X board certificate as proof of date of birth, certificate and marksheet of the qualifying examination, and the applicable category certificate, including ST Certificate, Local Certificate or Service Certificate.

Candidates must additionally provide a duration or bonafide certificate issued by their respective school. Those applying under the Persons with Disabilities category must produce a PwD certificate and/or Unique Disability Identity Card (UDID), where applicable.

The PwD certificate must be issued by a duly constituted Medical Board and remain valid until December 31, 2026. Certificates not issued by a Medical Board, or those expiring before December 31, 2026, will not be accepted.

Candidates whose final qualifying examination was conducted through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), formerly known as National Open School (NOS), must also provide proof of the location of their examination centre.

For the spot round, eligible candidates must carry all original educational qualification certificates, testimonials and category-related documents prescribed in the CSAB NEUT-2026 Information Brochure, along with one self-attested copy of each document. They must also carry two passport-size photographs identical to those submitted with their JEE Main 2026 application form.

Candidates have been advised to ensure that they meet the state eligibility criteria before appearing for counselling. The Administration has also stated that candidates are solely responsible for verifying their minimum and/or special eligibility for the course, programme or institute they seek.

CSAB NEUT-2026 and the Andaman and Nicobar Administration will not be responsible for cancellation of seats resulting from failure to meet minimum or special eligibility conditions. Further details are available on the CSAB website.
