Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 2: Lieutenant Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Vice Chairman of the Islands Development Agency, Admiral D.K. Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), attended a Departmental Summit on Water Conservation and Security in New Delhi on September 1, focusing on the development of a collaborative roadmap for sustainable water management in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The summit was convened by the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation under the Ministry of Jal Shakti. Union Minister for Jal Shakti, C. R. Paatil, chaired the summit.
