Sri Vijaya Puram, July 9: Twenty-two people, including 11 schoolchildren, were injured after an STS Diglipur Division bus carrying passengers and students on a trip met with an accident near Kishori Nagar on Thursday evening. Police have launched an investigation into the incident, while all the injured are undergoing treatment at the Sub-District Hospital in Diglipur.
The accident involved an STS Diglipur Division bus bearing registration number AN01G0034. The vehicle was transporting passengers, including school students on an excursion, when the accident occurred at Kishori Nagar.
According to initial information, all 22 injured persons, including the 11 children, were shifted to the Sub-District Hospital, Diglipur, for medical treatment. Authorities have not yet released details regarding the nature or severity of the injuries.
