Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 8: Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan arrived at INS Utkrosh in Sri Vijaya Puram today, beginning his two-day visit to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The Vice President received a formal welcome upon his arrival, with Lieutenant Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Admiral Devendra Kumar Joshi (Retd.) leading the reception. Senior officials and other dignitaries were also present to receive Radhakrishnan.
The arrival was marked by a ceremonial Guard of Honour, forming part of the official reception for the Vice President at INS Utkrosh.

Radhakrishnan’s visit will continue over two days in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The arrival at INS Utkrosh marked the beginning of his scheduled engagements during the visit.
The Lieutenant Governor, senior officials and dignitaries were present during the reception, reflecting the formal nature of the Vice President’s arrival in the islands.
The Vice President was accorded the ceremonial Guard of Honour after arriving at the naval establishment in Sri Vijaya Puram.
The visit places the Vice President in the island territory for a two-day programme, with his arrival formally commencing the scheduled visit.
The reception at INS Utkrosh concluded the arrival ceremony, with the Vice President beginning his two-day stay in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
