Social Welfare Dept Schedules Group C Exam, Hall Tickets Available

Date:

The Directorate of Social Welfare in the Andaman and Nicobar Administration has announced that the written examination for Group C posts – including MTS/Peon, Craft Instructor, and Cook – will be held on May 18, 2025.

Eligible candidates who applied for these posts can download their hall tickets from May 8 onward via the official recruitment portal (https://erecruitment.andaman.gov.in). This marks a key step in the department’s ongoing hiring process aimed at strengthening its workforce and enhancing service delivery across the islands.

The recruitment drive attracted significant attention, with numerous applications submitted online. The upcoming written test will serve as a critical selection stage to identify suitable candidates for roles that directly support the department’s functioning.

Officials have urged all candidates to ensure they download and carry their hall tickets to the examination center, as entry without the admit card will not be permitted. The hall ticket also contains essential details about examination centers, reporting times, and COVID-19 protocols, if applicable.

The Social Welfare Department plays a pivotal role in implementing a wide range of welfare schemes for children, women, senior citizens, and marginalized groups across the islands. Strengthening its human resources is expected to boost the department’s capacity to deliver services more effectively.
