Ration Card Services Temporarily Suspended Amid System Migration

Sri Vijaya Puram: In view of the ongoing migration from the existing ePDS to the upgraded SMART PDS system, all Ration Card-related services will remain temporarily suspended until April 20, 2025. Authorities have informed the public to expect unavailability of these services during the migration period, which is being undertaken to streamline and modernize ration distribution.

Officials stated that the temporary suspension is a necessary step to ensure a smooth transition to the SMART PDS system, which promises to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accessibility for consumers once fully operational.
