Over 4 Crore Register for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, PM Modi Credited for Nationwide Movement

Date:

Over 4 crore students, parents, and teachers have registered for the flagship initiative Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026, underscoring the programme’s emergence as a nationwide movement addressing exam-related stress and student well-being.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for transforming PPC into a mass platform, calling on all students to actively participate and benefit from the programme’s guidance on confidence, focus, and stress management.

“The registrations for PPC have crossed a historic milestone, with over 4 crore participants as of January 8, 2026,” Pradhan said. “This overwhelming response highlights the continued relevance of the initiative in fostering a positive and stress-free approach to examinations.”

The Minister emphasised that Pariksha Pe Charcha has evolved beyond an annual interaction into a true Jan Andolan, creating meaningful dialogue among students, parents, and educators nationwide. He described the initiative as a tool to promote holistic development, mental well-being, and academic confidence.

The programme, organised annually by the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education, provides a platform for students to engage directly with the Prime Minister on strategies to tackle exam pressure and develop self-assurance.

Online registrations for PPC 2026 began on December 1, 2025, through the MyGov portal, and students across the country are encouraged to participate as the examination season approaches. Pradhan highlighted that the initiative is designed to empower students to adopt a focused and confident approach to learning while reducing stress.

“The scale and diversity of participation reflect the initiative’s nationwide appeal and its success in connecting learners, parents, and educators,” the Minister added.

Pradhan urged students, referred to as “Exam Warriors,” to leverage the opportunity to interact with the Prime Minister and gain insights on maintaining well-being, managing exam pressure, and embracing education with a positive mindset.

The programme also serves as a reinforcement of the government’s broader efforts to strengthen student engagement, educational awareness, and mental health support during critical academic periods.

With the 2026 edition building on the success of previous years, PPC continues to be a highly anticipated event, fostering nationwide conversation on education, confidence-building, and stress-free learning strategies.
