Andaman College Releases UG Admission Counselling Schedule for 2026-27 Academic Session

Sri Vijaya Puram, July 14: The Andaman College under Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Institute of Higher Learning (Deemed to be University) has announced the counselling schedule for admission to eight undergraduate honours programmes for the 2026-27 academic session, with the admission process set to begin following publication of the provisional merit list on July 14.

According to the schedule released by the college, the provisional merit list has been published on the Common College Admission Portal (CCAP). Candidates will be able to submit claims and objections from July 14 to July 17 until 5 pm. The final merit list will be published on the CCAP portal on July 21 after considering the claims and objections received within the stipulated period.

Counselling for four undergraduate programmes, B.Com (General), B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and B.Sc Psychology, will be conducted on July 24 for candidates belonging to the General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Divyang and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories.

The counselling for B.Com (General) and B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship) will be held from 9.30 am to 1 pm, while counselling for BBA and B.Sc Psychology will take place from 1.30 pm to 5 pm.

Counselling for the remaining four honours programmes, B.A English, B.A Economics, B.A Sociology and Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music-Hindustani Vocal and Instrumental), will be conducted on July 25 for candidates under the General, OBC, ST, Divyang and EWS categories.

The counselling for B.A English and B.A Economics will be held from 9.30 am to 1 pm, while B.A Sociology and Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music-Hindustani Vocal and Instrumental) candidates will attend counselling from 1.30 pm to 5 pm.

The college has advised candidates to submit any claims or objections either through its official email or in person to the Principal within the notified deadline.

Applicants seeking admission have been instructed to attend the counselling-cum-admission process strictly according to the notified schedule. They must produce all original certificates along with one set of self-attested photocopies of the required documents during verification.

The college has stated that candidates who fail to report for counselling on the scheduled date and time will forfeit their claim for admission. Provisionally selected candidates have also been directed to pay the prescribed admission fee on the day of admission to complete the admission process.

The admission schedule forms part of the college’s process for filling seats in eight undergraduate honours programmes for the 2026-27 academic session through the Common College Admission Portal.
