Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 3: Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programmes at Andaman College (ANCOL) for the 2026-27 academic session will have to appear for the counselling-cum-admission process on August 5 and 6, with the institution also allowing offline applications for select courses to ensure eligible students who missed the online application process can still participate in admissions.
According to the admission schedule, counselling on August 5 will be held for four undergraduate programmes: B.Com (General), B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and B.Sc. Psychology. The counselling will cover candidates belonging to the General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Divyang and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories.
The counselling session on August 5 will be conducted from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a lunch break, and will resume from 1.30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On August 6, the college will conduct counselling for admissions to B.A. English, B.A. Economics, B.A. Sociology and Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music – Hindustani Vocal and Instrumental). Candidates from the General, OBC, ST, Divyang and EWS categories will be considered for admission under the scheduled counselling process. The timings will remain the same, from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 1.30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The college has also announced that offline applications will be accepted on the day of counselling for all notified courses except B.Sc. Psychology and B.A. English. Candidates who have not submitted online applications may participate in the admission process by submitting a duly filled application form indicating their Class XII marks and aggregate or average percentage, along with all prescribed supporting documents.
To facilitate the preparation of the offline admission merit list, such applications must be submitted before 10.30 a.m. on the respective counselling day.
Candidates attending the counselling-cum-admission process have been instructed to carry all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies for verification. The required documents include the Class X pass certificate, Class XII pass certificate and the Class XII mark statement, in addition to any other documents prescribed for admission.
The counselling schedule marks the next stage of the undergraduate admission process at ANCOL for the 2026-27 academic year, with document verification and merit-based counselling forming the basis of admissions across the notified undergraduate programmes.
