Seminar On Access To Justice & Rule Of Law In Andaman

Andaman Law College, in collaboration with the Mumbai-based Forum for Fast Justice, will host a National Seminar on “Access to Justice & Rule of Law” on Saturday, 27th September 2025, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The event aims to shed light on reforms needed to ensure speedy and equitable justice across the country.

The seminar will feature Prof. (Dr.) Faizan Mustafa, Vice Chancellor of Chanakya National Law University, Patna, as the Chief Guest. Other notable dignitaries include Bhagvanji Raiyani, Chairman & Managing Trustee, and Pravin Patel, National Convener, both representing the Forum for Fast Justice.

Local conveners facilitating the event are Rashid Yusoof and V K Mariyam Bibi from the Andaman and Nicobar Society for Fast Justice, alongside Asif Belal Ansari from Andaman Law College.

The seminar is expected to draw advocates, judicial officers, law enforcement personnel, academicians, and NGO representatives, focusing on improving the justice delivery system in India. Organisers have arranged comprehensive preparations to ensure the event is impactful and insightful.

Through this initiative, Andaman Law College seeks to foster dialogue on how legal frameworks can be strengthened to serve society better, particularly in speeding up the judicial process and improving access to justice for all.
