Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 25: Residents of Teressa, Chowra and Katchal will have access to Special Aadhaar Camps being conducted by the Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs during September and October to facilitate Aadhaar-related work closer to the public.
The first camp began in Teressa on September 24 and will continue until October 1, 2026. The department has scheduled the next camp in Chowra from October 3 to 5, followed by a camp in Katchal from October 7 to 10.
The camps are being organised at Gram Panchayats as part of an effort to make Aadhaar-related services more accessible to the general public. Residents have been requested to use the opportunity to complete their Aadhaar-related work during the scheduled camps.
The department has advised the public to take note of the respective camp dates and locations while planning to avail the services. The schedule covers the three locations across September and October 2026, with Teressa hosting the first phase before the camps move to Chowra and subsequently Katchal.
The conduct of the camps, however, will remain subject to weather conditions. Any disruption or change arising from weather conditions will therefore affect the scheduled conduct of the camps.
The Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has urged the public to make use of the Special Aadhaar Camps for Aadhaar-related requirements. The initiative provides designated dates at the Gram Panchayat level for residents seeking to complete such work.
The department’s schedule places the Teressa camp from September 24 to October 1, the Chowra camp from October 3 to 5, and the Katchal camp from October 7 to 10, subject to prevailing weather conditions.
