Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 19: Dr S.R. DIET, Garacharma will conduct a second counselling session on September 23 to fill one vacant Category-IV seat in the Humanities stream of its D.El.Ed. programme for the 2026–2028 academic session.
The counselling will begin at 9.30 am at the institute’s auditorium and will follow the approved admission procedure, merit-based selection process and applicable admission rules and guidelines.
The vacancy arose after one candidate withdrew from Category-IV, which covers the 10 Years Education category. The institute has initiated the process to fill the seat through the second round of counselling.
Candidates placed at Serial Nos. 19 to 28 in the published Final Merit List under Category-IV have been called to attend the counselling for consideration against the single vacant seat. The selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit and in accordance with the applicable admission rules and guidelines.
The candidates called for counselling must appear at the institute on the scheduled date and time. They will also be required to produce all prescribed original documents along with the requisite copies for verification during the admission process.
The counselling process follows the withdrawal of the earlier selected candidate and is intended to fill the resulting vacancy within the approved admission framework for the D.El.Ed. programme.
The institute has advised eligible candidates to keep track of updates relating to the counselling process through the CCAP Portal and official communications issued by Dr S.R. DIET, Garacharma.
The second counselling is specifically limited to candidates from the identified portion of the final merit list under Category-IV, with Serial Nos. 19 to 28 being called for consideration. The available seat is one in number and falls within the Humanities stream.
The institute’s admission process will therefore proceed according to the existing merit list and prescribed rules rather than through a separate selection mechanism. Candidates seeking consideration for the vacant seat will have to complete document verification as required and participate in the scheduled counselling.
With the counselling date fixed for September 23, candidates included in the specified merit-list range will need to attend the session at the designated venue and time to remain eligible for consideration against the vacancy.
Dr S.R. DIET has also reiterated the need for candidates to monitor the CCAP Portal and official institute communications for any further information concerning the counselling process.
The second counselling will address the single vacancy created by the withdrawal of one Category-IV candidate and will determine admission to that seat for the 2026–2028 D.El.Ed. academic session.
