The counselling will be conducted at three centres on the same day. Government ITI, Arong, Car Nicobar, Government ITI, Bakultala and Government ITI, Dollygunj will hold the sessions from 9.30 am.
The admission exercise covers candidates who have already submitted applications online through the CCAP as well as those who have not applied online. Eligible applicants may attend the counselling themselves or through a duly authorised representative.
Candidates appearing for the process must carry their original certificates and documents for verification, along with one set of photocopies of all required documents. They must also bring two recent passport-size photographs and the prescribed admission fee of Rs 950.
The documents listed for verification include the qualification certificate or mark sheet, category certificate wherever applicable, local certificate wherever applicable, duration certificate wherever applicable, transfer certificate, Aadhaar Card and bank passbook.
The prescribed fee will have to be deposited at the concerned ITI at the time of admission, as applicable. Candidates and their authorised representatives must adhere strictly to the date and reporting time fixed for the counselling.
The admission process will not entertain late reporting. If a candidate fails to report within the stipulated time, the vacant seat may be offered to the next eligible candidate according to merit.
Candidates are also required to complete a further admission-related requirement after selection. Those admitted through the counselling must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate within two days from the date of admission.
Failure to submit the medical certificate within the specified two-day period will lead to cancellation of the admission. The resulting vacancy will then be allotted to the next eligible candidate in order of merit, without any further intimation.
The authorities have advised applicants to remain in regular contact with the concerned Admission Committee or the respective ITI for further information or clarification during the admission process.
The physical counselling schedule is as follows: Government ITI, Arong, Car Nicobar — September 23 at 9.30 am; Government ITI, Bakultala, September 23 at 9.30 am; and Government ITI, Dollygunj, September 23 at 9.30 am.
