Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 5: Eligible MBBS aspirants at the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS) will have to report for the second round of admission counselling on September 8, 2026, as the institute begins the next stage of admissions for the 2026–27 academic session.
The counselling will start at 9 am at the Library Block Building of the ANIIMS New Campus at Corbyn’s Cove, Sri Vijaya Puram.
ANIIMS has published the list of candidates eligible to participate in the second round on its official website and the Common College Admission Portal. Candidates have been advised to check the published list and follow the schedule and instructions issued by the institute before appearing for the counselling process.
The institute has also asked eligible candidates to carry all required original documents and certificates to the venue. These records will be needed for verification during counselling, along with any other documents specified for the admission process.

The second-round exercise forms part of the MBBS admission process for the 2026–27 academic session and will be conducted at the institute’s new campus.
Candidates seeking to participate are required to verify their eligibility through the published list and ensure that they comply with the notified instructions before reaching the counselling venue. The requirement to produce original records makes document readiness an essential part of the process for those attending.
The eligibility list and counselling-related information are available through ANIIMS and the Common College Admission Portal, giving candidates access to the official details needed ahead of the scheduled session.
With the second round fixed for September 8, eligible candidates will need to attend the physical counselling at the designated venue and complete the document verification requirements as instructed by the institute.
