Sri Vijaya Puram, July 31: Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM), a constituent college of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Institute of Higher Learning (NSCBIHL), a Deemed to be University, will conduct its second admission counselling session on August 5, 2026, to fill vacant seats across various courses. Candidates who have applied under reserved categories will be considered based on separate category-wise merit lists prepared for the admission process.
The counselling will be held at JNRM, Sri Vijaya Puram, with candidates required to report at the concerned departments of their respective courses by 8.30 am on the scheduled date.
Applicants who have opted for reserved categories, including Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Divyang, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), wards of Central Government employees, wards of ex-servicemen and JNRM categories, will have to participate in the counselling process according to the final merit lists prepared separately for each category.

The college has stated that admissions under reserved categories will be conducted first during the counselling session. Therefore, all candidates who have applied under these categories have been advised to attend the forenoon session irrespective of their merit serial number.
After completing admissions under the reserved categories, vacant seats in these categories, except EWS seats, will be converted into unreserved category seats. The remaining admissions will then be conducted according to the applicable all-category merit list for unreserved candidates.
Candidates who fail to attend the counselling session on the specified date and time will not be considered for admission to the respective courses. In such cases, the next eligible candidate from the merit list will be considered for admission.
Applicants who submitted their applications online have been instructed to bring original documents for verification during the counselling process. The institution has informed candidates that certificates downloaded through DigiLocker will be accepted during the counselling session for provisional admission.
However, candidates must submit the original Class 12 marksheet to JNRM within one week of provisional admission. The document will be required for verification and completion of final admission formalities by NSCBIHL.
The counselling process is aimed at filling the remaining vacant seats across different courses while ensuring admissions are conducted according to category-wise merit lists and prescribed verification procedures.
