The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a Prashikshan Shivir today in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to strengthen the leadership skills, ideological understanding, and public service commitment of party workers. The program forms part of the party’s nationwide initiative to enhance organizational cohesion and engagement at the grassroots level.
Dineshanand Goswami, former Jharkhand BJP President and Zonal Incharge of the Prashikshan Mahabhiyan, attended the sessions along with BJP Aandaman & Nicobar State President Anil Kumar Tiwari, State Vice President Sher Singh, and Zilla Parishad South Andaman President Prakash Adhikari. Several district- and mandal-level office bearers and party workers from across the islands were also present.
During the Shivir, leaders traced the party’s evolution from its founding in 1951 to its current status as one of the largest political organizations globally. Participants were encouraged to prioritize public service and organizational development while adhering to the principle of “Nation First, Party Second, Self Last,” inspired by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.
Speakers highlighted the significance of ideological clarity, discipline, and unity among party workers, especially given the geographical challenges of the islands. The Prashikshan Shivir served as a platform for connecting workers from different islands, sharing strategies, and reinforcing the party’s mission for development and governance.
The program underscored the role of a dedicated cadre in advancing the party’s vision for a developed India by 2047. Participants were urged to focus on practical learning, active organizational engagement, and public service, strengthening both local networks and broader political objectives.
The sessions concluded with discussions on ongoing initiatives, feedback from participants, and calls to continue active participation in party and community work across the islands. Leaders reiterated that ideological understanding and grassroots involvement remain central to political growth and effective service delivery.
