The Wave Andman is Now Available in Five Languages

Date:

The Wave Andaman is now available in five languages, English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil and Telugu, making it easier for readers across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to access news in the language they are most comfortable with.

Readers can switch to their preferred language simply by using the language tab at the bottom left of the screen.

The feature has been introduced keeping in mind the multilingual character of the islands, which are home to people from diverse linguistic backgrounds. By offering content in multiple languages, The Wave Andaman aims to reach more readers and ensure that key developments, important issues and local stories are accessible to a wider cross-section of islanders.

The initiative is also expected to strengthen the platform’s value for advertisers by expanding their reach and giving them greater visibility among audiences in their preferred language.

Readers are invited to share their feedback and suggestions at editor@thewaveandaman.com.
