B.Ed. Admission Process Begins at TGCE From July 20 for 2026-27 Academic Session

Sri Vijaya Puram, July 18: Online applications for admission to the two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme for the 2026-27 academic session will open from July 20 at Tagore Government College of Education (TGCE), offering eligible graduates and postgraduates an opportunity to apply through the Common College Admission Portal until August 9.

Tagore Government College of Education, a constituent college of the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Institution of Higher Learning (NSCBIHL), Sri Vijaya Puram, has announced the commencement of the online admission process for its two-year B.Ed. Programme for the academic session 2026-27.

The programme is affiliated with NSCBIHL, Sri Vijaya Puram, a Deemed to be University, and is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

According to the admission notification, graduates and postgraduates from various disciplines are eligible to apply for the programme, subject to the eligibility criteria and admission regulations prescribed by NSCBIHL.

The online application process will begin on July 20, 2026, and will remain open until August 9, 2026. Candidates seeking admission will be required to submit their applications through the Common College Admission Portal.

The e-Prospectus containing detailed information regarding eligibility conditions, admission regulations and the semester-based B.Ed. Programme will also be made available through the Common College Admission Portal.

Applicants can access the admission portal to complete the online application process and obtain the prospectus before submitting their applications within the stipulated deadline.

The two-year Bachelor of Education programme is designed for candidates aspiring to pursue teacher education and is offered under the academic framework of NSCBIHL.

With the announcement of the admission schedule, eligible candidates intending to enrol in the programme have been advised to complete the online application process within the notified period to avoid missing the deadline.

The admission process will be conducted entirely through the online portal, which will facilitate access to the application form and admission-related information for prospective candidates.

The application window will close on August 9, after which the admission process will proceed in accordance with the regulations of the institution.
