Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday invited citizens to watch a special episode of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) scheduled for February 6, describing the interactions with students across the country as inspiring and energising ahead of the examination season.
As board and entrance examinations draw closer, the Prime Minister once again engaged directly with students through the annual programme, which focuses on exam-related stress, learning approaches and personal development. This year’s interactions were held with students, referred to as Exam Warriors, in Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur, Guwahati, and at the Prime Minister’s residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi.
Sharing his experience on social media, Modi said the discussions were refreshing and highlighted the enthusiasm and openness displayed by students during the conversations. He reiterated the importance of approaching examinations without fear or pressure and shared practical guidance on maintaining balance, overcoming challenges and building confidence.

In a social media post, the Prime Minister announced the upcoming broadcast of the episode, encouraging people to watch the February 6 programme to gain insights from the interactions. He noted that the discussions covered stress-free exams and several related issues relevant to students.
Pariksha Pe Charcha involves direct engagement between the Prime Minister, students, teachers and parents from across India. During the sessions, guidance is offered on managing academic pressure, preparing for examinations calmly and developing a healthy approach to learning, while also touching upon broader themes of personal growth.
The 2026 edition marks the ninth year of the flagship initiative, reflecting its continued expansion since its launch. Over the years, the programme has evolved from a single-venue interaction into a nationwide dialogue, bringing together students from diverse regions and backgrounds.
Unlike earlier editions traditionally held at one location in Delhi, this year’s programme adopted a multi-city format. The Prime Minister interacted with students in Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Assam, symbolically connecting multiple regions of the country on a single platform. The format aimed to broaden representation and reflect the programme’s pan-India character.
Officials noted that the scale of participation in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 underlined its growing national reach. More than 4.5 crore people registered for the programme this year. In addition, 2.26 crore participants took part in various activities linked to PPC, taking the total engagement to over 6.76 crore individuals.
The programme has steadily grown into a nationwide initiative centred on creating a supportive environment for students, encouraging open dialogue on academic pressure and promoting an education culture that values individual strengths and well-being.
The February 6 episode is expected to showcase key moments from these interactions, highlighting the concerns raised by students and the guidance shared during the sessions as examination season approaches.
