MV Chuglam Cargo Vessel to Sail for Southern Ports on May 19

Date:

The cargo vessel MV Chuglam is scheduled to depart from Chatham/Haddo Jetty on May 19 at 4:00 PM for Campbell Bay, making intermediate stops at Little Andaman, Car Nicobar, Chowra, Teressa, Katchal, and Nancowry.

Consignors have been advised that cargo booking will commence from May 14 between 9:00 AM and 12:00 noon at the Commercial Wing. The administration has made it clear that only actual trans shippable quantities of cargo will be accepted and that no excess cargo will be permitted on board.

The sailing is part of the routine inter-island cargo operations that are critical for maintaining supply chains to remote islands in the Nicobar group. Authorities have urged all consigners to plan bookings accurately and in advance to avoid last-minute logistical issues.
