Sri Vijaya Puram, July 20: The Development Commissioner (MSME), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, has invited eligible Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) to participate in the India Global Grand Trade Fair (IGGTF) 2026, offering financial assistance under the Procurement and Marketing Support (PMS) Scheme to help enterprises expand their market reach.
The trade fair will be held at the Science City Exhibition Ground, Kolkata, South 24-Parganas, West Bengal, from September 4 to September 21, providing participating enterprises with an opportunity to showcase their products under a national platform.
The invitation is open to eligible MSEs engaged in the manufacturing of handicrafts and handlooms, textiles and apparel, home furnishings, leather goods, crockery, packaged processed food products, herbal and Ayurvedic products, electrical and electronics products, lifestyle products, and furniture and interior products.
The Ministry has stated that participating enterprises can avail assistance under Component 5(1)(A) of the Procurement and Marketing Support Scheme. The support includes an 80 per cent subsidy on the rent of built-up exhibition space. Enterprises owned by Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, women entrepreneurs, units from the North Eastern Region, persons with disabilities and aspirational districts will be eligible for a 100 per cent subsidy on built-up space rent.
The scheme also provides reimbursement of eligible contingency expenditure up to Rs. 25,000 and travel assistance for one representative from each participating enterprise, limited to Economy Class airfare, in accordance with the PMS Scheme guidelines.
Micro and Small Enterprises from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands have also been made eligible for enhanced assistance under the scheme. Such enterprises can receive overall financial support of up to Rs. 0.80 lakh per enterprise for each event or the actual expenditure incurred, whichever is lower, subject to the provisions of the Procurement and Marketing Support Scheme Guidelines.
The Ministry has fixed August 25 as the last date for submission of applications. Eligible enterprises have been advised to complete the online application process through the QR code made available in the official notification and refer to the PMS Scheme Guidelines before applying.
The initiative is aimed at facilitating wider market access for Micro and Small Enterprises by supporting their participation in a national trade exhibition while reducing the financial burden associated with exhibition space, travel and related expenses under the Government of India’s support scheme.
