Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 28: Two vacant seats in the D.El.Ed. programme for the 2026–2028 academic session will be filled through a third counselling round on September 30, with one seat available in the Humanities stream under Category-IV and another in the Science stream under Category-V.
The counselling will follow the approved admission procedure, merit-based selection process and applicable admission rules and guidelines prescribed by the competent authority. Eligible candidates have been called to attend the process in person at the scheduled venue and time.
For the Humanities stream, candidates listed from Serial Number 29 to 66 under Category-IV, designated for candidates with 10 years of education, have been called for counselling. However, candidates at Serial Numbers 30, 36, 39, 41, 43, 45, 48 and 49 have been excluded from the list.
In the Science stream, the counselling call covers candidates from Serial Number 96 to 130 under Category-V. Candidates at Serial Numbers 98, 103, 111, 114, 117 and 118 have been excluded.
The counselling will take place at the Auditorium of Dr. S. R. DIET, Garacharma, with candidates required to report at 10 am on September 30.
Candidates appearing for the counselling must attend personally and carry all prescribed original documents for verification, along with the required number of photocopies. The verification will form part of the admission process under the applicable rules.

The two vacancies represent the remaining seats identified for the third counselling round, one each in the Humanities and Science streams.
