DBRAIT Schedules B.Tech Lateral Entry Entrance Exam on July 30; Reporting Timings Announced

Sri Vijaya Puram, July 11: Candidates seeking direct admission to the second year of B.Tech programmes through lateral entry at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (DBRAIT) will appear for the Lateral Entry (Degree) Entrance Examination on July 30, with the institute issuing the examination schedule, reporting timings and subject guidelines for applicants.

The entrance examination will be conducted at GB-205, Green Building, DBRAIT, for candidates applying to B.Tech programmes through the lateral entry admission process.

According to the notified schedule, the examination for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) will be held from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Candidates have been instructed to report to the examination centre by 9:30 am.

The entrance examination for B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) will take place from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm. Candidates appearing for this paper have been directed to report by 11:30 am.

The examination for B.Tech in Civil Engineering will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, with candidates required to report to the venue by 2:00 pm.

The institute has informed candidates that the examination syllabus will follow the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) K Scheme curriculum. Applicants have been advised to refer to the prescribed syllabus available through the MSBTE curriculum portal while preparing for the examination.

The entrance test forms part of the admission process for diploma holders seeking direct entry into the second year of undergraduate engineering programmes under the lateral entry system.

Candidates have also been advised to regularly monitor the official admission and institute websites for any updates or changes relating to the examination process, schedule or admission procedures.
