Firing Drill Scheduled at Chinthe Long Range

Sri Vijaya Puram, June 18: Authorities have issued a notification for a scheduled firing practice at Chinthe Long Range, Birchgunj, on June 20 from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. The notification, issued under the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery Practice Act, 1938, cautions civilians to avoid the area during the designated hours.

Safety Advisory Issued for Locals

Residents, travelers, and livestock owners are requested to keep themselves and their property away from the area to ensure safety during the firing drills. The administration emphasized the importance of strict adherence to the warning in order to prevent accidents or injuries. In previous drills, the area has been cordoned off and marked for safety, and similar arrangements are expected this time to safeguard all involved.
