Sri Vijaya Puram, July 24: The Excise Department of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration has placed its newly developed online portal for liquor brand registration in the public domain, inviting comments and suggestions from stakeholders before its implementation.
The online platform has been developed to digitise the process of liquor brand registration and has been made available for review through the Excise Department’s official portal. According to the department, the initiative is intended to streamline brand registration procedures while improving transparency and ease of doing business in the Union Territory.
The Administration has invited manufacturers, distributors, licensees and other concerned stakeholders to access the portal and examine its features and functionalities.

Stakeholders have been requested to submit their comments, suggestions and feedback to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner (Excise) through email on or before August 2, 2026.
According to the department, the feedback received during the consultation period will be examined before the portal is finalised. The inputs will be considered for further refinement and improvement of the system to provide a more seamless user experience.

The online portal has been developed as part of the Excise Department’s effort to modernise the liquor brand registration process through a digital platform.
The Administration stated that the consultation process is intended to gather inputs from all concerned stakeholders before the portal is fully operational.
Interested stakeholders have been advised to visit the portal and review its functionalities within the stipulated period to enable the department to consider suitable suggestions during the final stage of development.
