Out of 46 students shortlisted for this stage by the Ministry, 18 participated in person at JNRM College, Sri Vijaya Puram, while others were evaluated online.

Participants from various educational institutes across the islands presented their ideas on themes central to India’s development vision, including “Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Make in India, Make for the World,” “Bharat’s Soft Power: Cultural Diplomacy and Global Influence,” “Building a Sustainable and Green Viksit Bharat,” “Enhancing Productivity through Smart and Sustainable Agriculture,” “Fit Bharat Hit Bharat,” “Innovation with Tradition: Building a Modern Bharat,” “Making India the Start-Up Capital of the World,” “Women-Led Development: The Key to Viksit Bharat,” and “Youth in Democracy and Government for Viksit Bharat.”

Each presentation was assessed by a jury and moderators from the Ministry on criteria including clarity of vision, innovation and creativity, feasibility and implementation, impact, and leadership. Participants also reflected on their learning and experiences gained through the different stages of the challenge, highlighting their understanding of government schemes, programs, societal issues, environmental awareness, and economic concepts related to India’s development.

At the conclusion of the event, participants were awarded certificates acknowledging their contribution and participation in the state-level challenge. The programme ended with addresses by Dr. Leelamani, Associate Professor, Dr. Vivek Kumar Sahu, Assistant Professor, and T.
