Sri Vijaya Puram, Sep 17: Government employees from various departments and offices of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration participated in a Hindi typing competition held as part of Hindi Fortnight-2026, bringing official-language use into focus through a competitive exercise.
The competition took place at the Hindi Typing Training Centre of the Department of Official Language and included employees from different departments and offices of the A&N Administration as well as member offices of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC).
A good number of government employees took part in the typing contest, organised as part of the ongoing Hindi Fortnight activities.

The Department of Official Language will continue the programme with a Hindi writing competition scheduled for September 17, 2026, at 10 am. The competition will be conducted at the Hindi Typing Training Centre of the Department of Official Language, A&N Administration.
