Following the completion of vote counting on 10 February 2026, the Returning Officers of the respective Gram Panchayats and SVPMC declared the final results.

In Madhupur-6, Taramani Hawlader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured 137 votes, defeating Geeta Roy of the Indian National Congress (INC), who polled 127 votes.

His closest competitors were Anjelina Kumari of the BJP with 932 votes, M. Bindu of the INC with 370 votes, and K. N. Verma, another Independent, with 185 votes.

The elections reflected participation from multiple political parties, including the BJP, INC, and Independent candidates, across urban and rural constituencies in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The results bring new representatives to the Gram Panchayats, Zilla Parishad, and municipal governance, filling the casual vacancies in Madhupur, Bakultala, Mannarghat, Bambooflat, Mayabunder, and Sri Vijaya Puram.

Returning Officers confirmed the integrity of the process and the official tally of votes, finalizing the winners without any reported discrepancies. These bye-elections follow procedural norms set for casual vacancies and aim to ensure continuity in local governance and administrative representation.

With the declaration of results, Madhupur, Bakultala, Mannarghat, Bambooflat, Mayabunder, and SVPMC now have duly elected representatives, reflecting the democratic participation of local communities in shaping governance at both Panchayat and municipal levels.
