Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 18: Youth aged 15 to 29 years can now participate in the Quiz Round of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD)-2027, with registration open through September 30, 2026, on the MY Bharat and MyGov portals, the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, A&N Administration, said.
The quiz marks the first stage of the VBYLD-2027, also referred to as the National Youth Festival 2027. Participants who progress beyond this round will compete in Essay Writing and Presentation rounds at the district and state levels. State-level winners will advance to the National Round, scheduled to take place in New Delhi from January 10 to 12, 2027.
The quiz covers a broad range of subjects intended to test participants’ knowledge across areas concerning India and its development. The question bank includes National Initiatives, technological advancements, history and geography, art and culture, civics and constitutional values, science and space technology, sports, current affairs and the Indian economy, along with other aspects of the country.
The initiative provides eligible young people in the islands an opportunity to enter the multi-stage dialogue through the online quiz before the subsequent district and state-level rounds.
The department said participants will receive an individual digital certificate after completing the quiz.
Eligible youth can register and take part through the MY Bharat Portal. The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs issued the information regarding the opening and schedule of the quiz.
The VBYLD-2027 process will therefore move from the online quiz to district- and state-level Essay Writing and Presentation rounds, culminating in the National Round in New Delhi in January 2027.
