NEWS BRIEF : The Directorate of Shipping Services has temporarily suspended operations of MV North Bay ferry due to a technical snag. The ferry, operating on the Middle Strait–Baratang route, will remain out of service from April 8.
Passengers will be accommodated via MVF Kadamtala and MVF Austin-IV, which will continue services on the affected route. The Directorate is working to restore MV North Bay at the earliest and has requested public cooperation in the interim.
