The “Sampark se Samadhan – Prashasan Gaon ki Ore” initiative reached Uttara Gram Panchayat in North & Middle Andaman on February 19, 2026, with a public grievance redressal programme chaired by Deputy Commissioner Sushant Padha. The outreach aimed to strengthen grassroots service delivery and ensure timely resolution of citizen grievances through direct administrative engagement.
The programme was conducted at the Panchayat Hall of Gram Panchayat Uttara in the presence of Assistant Commissioner Rangat Deepanshu Vohra, Heads of Offices and representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions. The initiative focused on bringing governance closer to residents and resolving issues through coordinated departmental action.
During the Revenue Camp Court held as part of the programme, cases related to land sub-division, name correction and mutation were taken up and disposed of. The administration processed these matters on priority, facilitating procedural clarity and expediting long-pending revenue concerns.

The event witnessed participation from around 350 individuals, including PRI members, departmental officials and members of the general public. The turnout reflected significant community engagement and interest in accessing on-site administrative services.
Later in the day, the Deputy Commissioner, accompanied by the Assistant Commissioner and Heads of Departments, visited remote pockets of Kadamtala village, including Kataidera and Atterji. The field visit formed part of the initiative’s objective to extend administrative presence beyond central locations and into remote habitations.
During the inspection, the team conducted door-to-door interactions to assess local issues related to drinking water supply, road connectivity, healthcare services, education facilities, electricity supply, civil supplies and other public amenities. Residents presented their grievances directly to officials, enabling immediate assessment of ground realities.
Departmental officers were directed to initiate time-bound action on the issues raised. In cases where resolution was feasible on-site, officers facilitated immediate solutions to provide prompt relief. The administration emphasised coordinated response mechanisms to prevent delays in service delivery.
Deputy Commissioner Sushant Padha reiterated the Administration’s commitment to responsive, accessible and transparent governance. He underscored the importance of proactive departmental coordination and continuous engagement with communities to ensure that public services reach every household.
The District Administration confirmed that the “Sampark se Samadhan – Prashasan Gaon ki Ore” initiative will continue to expand across remaining villages in North & Middle Andaman. The outreach programme aims to institutionalise direct interaction between officials and citizens, strengthen grievance redressal systems and enhance accountability at the grassroots level.
By combining revenue case disposal, field inspections and real-time grievance handling, the administration has positioned the initiative as a mechanism to bridge administrative gaps and improve public service delivery in remote and rural areas of the district.
