Revenue Camp Court to Fast-Track Land Disputes in Diglipur Tehsil on May 8

Diglipur, May 1:
In an important outreach effort aimed at clearing a backlog of land-related disputes and revenue matters, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of North and Middle Andaman has announced the holding of a Revenue Camp Court at Diglipur Tehsil on May 8, 2025, starting at 9 a.m. The camp is being organized to dispose of subdivision cases and resolve other pending revenue issues within the tehsil.

The administration has formally invited all concerned applicants and local residents, especially those whose cases are tied up in the local revenue offices, to attend the session. Attendees have been advised to bring all relevant documentation, including land records, ownership papers, mutation applications, and any supporting evidence related to their cases, to facilitate smooth and effective processing.

Land-related disputes and subdivision requests have long been a source of delay and frustration for residents of Diglipur and its surrounding areas. With the Deputy Commissioner’s direct intervention through the Camp Court model, the administration aims to clear pending files, streamline the revenue process, and provide timely redressal to citizens who often face bureaucratic delays.

The Tehsildar of Diglipur has been designated as the key contact point for any queries related to the camp, including documentation requirements and case listings.

Residents with unresolved land or revenue cases are advised to contact the Tehsildar’s office in advance to confirm their case status and documentation requirements.
