Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with students, teachers, and parents across India on Friday as part of the ninth edition of his flagship programme, Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), aimed at promoting stress-free examinations and holistic learning.
The programme, scheduled for February 6, will feature interactive sessions designed to provide guidance on approaching board and entrance exams with confidence and calm. The initiative also addresses broader aspects of personal growth and learning beyond examinations.
This year’s edition has seen active engagement with students from multiple locations, including Dev Mogra in Gujarat, Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, Raipur in Chhattisgarh, Guwahati in Assam, and New Delhi at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. PM Modi encouraged citizens to tune in to the special episode to witness the conversations and insights shared during the sessions.

Speaking on social media, the Prime Minister said, “As the Parikshas are approaching, #ParikshaPeCharcha is back too! This time, the Charcha happened with #ExamWarriors in Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur, Guwahati and at 7, LKM in Delhi. As always, it is refreshing to interact with my young friends and discuss stress-free exams and several other things. Do watch the PPC Episode on 6th February!”
PPC 2026 marks a milestone in the programme’s evolution, reflecting its growth into a nationwide movement supporting the vision of recognizing and nurturing every student’s individuality without fear or pressure. More than 4.5 crore participants registered for the 2026 edition, with an additional 2.26 crore engaging in related activities, bringing total participation to over 6.76 crore across the country.
Ahead of the event, the Madhya Pradesh government issued directives for district administrations to ensure the programme is implemented in all schools, including private institutions. The main state-level session is scheduled at Subhash Excellence School in Bhopal, with School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh attending alongside students in Narsinghpur district.
The initiative, launched in 2018, continues to serve as a platform for students, parents, and educators to discuss examination challenges and strategies for managing stress. By combining direct interaction with practical guidance, the programme aims to foster confidence, resilience, and a positive learning environment for India’s youth.
Pariksha Pe Charcha also highlights the central government’s efforts to bridge communication between students and policymakers, allowing young learners to voice concerns, share experiences, and gain insights into effective preparation strategies. The 2026 edition reinforces the focus on student well-being and holistic education, underscoring the importance of mental health and balanced academic development in shaping future-ready citizens.
