Mayabunder Helicopter Crash: Passengers Under Treatment

Further details have emerged in the incident involving a Pawan Hans helicopter that crashed into the sea shortly after taking off from Mayabunder.

According to updated information, four passengers – Rajita Devi along with her infant, Kamal Ch. Das, Sipra Saha, and Nambi Amma – were rescued and taken to Dr. RP Hospital, Mayabunder. All are currently under medical observation and receiving treatment. Hospital sources indicated that their condition is being closely monitored.

Officials have also confirmed that the pilots operating the helicopter are safe. No fatalities have been reported in the incident so far.

The crash occurred soon after take-off, prompting immediate rescue and response efforts. While initial reports suggested that all passengers were safe, authorities are continuing assessments to determine the circumstances that led to the helicopter going down at sea.
