Goyal reiterated India’s commitment to supporting exports to Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region, while both countries expressed confidence in advancing negotiations for the India-Gulf Cooperation Council Free Trade Agreement. The discussions underscored a shared intent to deepen economic ties and expand trade engagement.
In a separate interaction with Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi, Goyal emphasised the importance of maintaining stability and expressed hope that the ceasefire would hold, paving the way for long-term peace in the region.
