The spirit of Independence will take centre stage in Sri Vijaya Puram this weekend as the Art & Culture Department of the Andaman & Nicobar Administration stages a two-day celebration under the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025. The programme, set for August 9 and 10 at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School auditorium, will feature a blend of cultural performances, a patriotic dance competition, and a vibrant community mela.
The event is aimed at honouring the Indian National Flag and fostering unity through cultural expression. Beginning at 5 pm on both days, the programme will open its doors to the public with requests for attendees to be seated by 4.45 pm to ensure smooth proceedings.
