Fit India Waves & Warriors Beach Festival to Energize Corbyn’s Cove Beach on March 25

The Sports Authority of India (SAI), STC Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram, will host the Fit India Waves & Warriors Beach Festival on 25th March 2026 at Corbyn’s Cove Beach. The one-day event is organized in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Directorate of Education & Sports, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, and the Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO). It forms part of the nationwide Fit India Movement under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.

The festival aims to promote physical fitness, active lifestyles, and community engagement among youth and the general public through a variety of sports, wellness sessions, and competitive activities on the beach. The event offers an opportunity for participants to experience structured fitness programs alongside recreational beach activities.

The schedule begins at 6:00 AM with a yoga session, followed by a Zumba workout at 7:00 AM. The main activities run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and include sand-based Tug-of-War, beach relay races, a sand fitness circuit featuring planks, fun games such as the spoon race and ball passing, sea kayaking events including singles, mixed, and kayak Tug-of-War, as well as challenge games like clock push-ups and cone collection. The festival will conclude with a prize distribution ceremony from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The event welcomes individuals, teams, educational institutions, youth clubs, and fitness enthusiasts. Organizers highlighted that participants can range from seasoned athletes to casual visitors seeking an active day at the beach. Spot registration will be available for those who wish to join on the day of the festival.
