Vacant Engineering and Pharmacy Seats to Be Filled in CSAB NEUT Spot Round on Aug 11

Date:

The Andaman and Nicobar Administration has announced that the Spot Round Counselling for CSAB NEUT-2025 will be held on August 11, 2025, for the allotment of vacant seats in degree-level Engineering, Architecture, and Pharmacy courses reserved at mainland institutions. The counselling will begin at 10:00 AM at the Auditorium of Tagore Government College of Education (TGCE), Sri Vijaya Puram.

The counselling will be conducted based on the JEE (Main) 2025 rank of candidates and category-wise seat availability at the time of allotment for Engineering and Architecture courses. Eligibility requirements and academic qualifications for all programmes are outlined in the CSAB NEUT-2025 Information Brochure, which candidates are advised to refer to before participating in the process.

To be considered for the spot round, all interested and eligible candidates must submit their required documents to the Development-IV Section (Higher Education Section) at the Secretariat in Sri Vijaya Puram by August 8, 2025, no later than 5:00 PM. The documents include proof of identity, JEE (Main) 2025 admit card and scorecard for Engineering/Architecture candidates, Class X certificate for date of birth, qualifying exam mark sheet, category and bonafide certificates, and disability certificates if applicable. Candidates from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) must also provide proof of the examination centre’s location.

On the day of counselling, candidates are required to carry all original certificates and one self-attested copy of each, as per CSAB NEUT-2025 guidelines. They must also bring two recent passport-size photographs identical to the one used in the JEE (Main) 2025 application form.

Authorities have stressed that students must ensure they meet the state eligibility criteria as required under CSAB NEUT guidelines. Candidates have been advised to verify their minimum and special eligibility for their preferred course or institution in advance, as failure to meet these conditions may result in cancellation of admission. The responsibility of verifying eligibility lies solely with the candidate, and neither CSAB NEUT-2025 nor the Andaman and Nicobar Administration will be held liable for cancellations due to non-compliance.

Further information, including detailed guidelines and updates, is available on the official CSAB NEUT website: https://csab.nic.in/csab-neut.Vacant Engineering and Pharmacy Seats to Be Filled in CSAB NEUT Spot Round on Aug 11
