Education Dept Publishes Craft Instructor Merit List, Invites Objections

Date:

Sri Vijaya Puram, June 22: The Directorate of Education of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration has published the provisional statement of marks of eligible candidates and the list of ineligible applicants for recruitment to vacant Craft Instructor posts, inviting candidates to submit claims and objections through an online process before the stipulated deadline.

The move relates to the recruitment process initiated under Vacancy Notice No. A/899/2023-RMIS CELL-EDN_AN/66363/1443 dated March 8, 2024, for filling vacant posts of Craft Instructor in the disciplines of Computer Application, Music, Tailoring and Embroidery.

According to the Directorate, the provisional statement has been prepared for candidates who applied online, subsequently submitted hard copies of their application forms and underwent physical verification of documents and certificates at designated verification centres.

The published list includes the provisional marks secured by eligible candidates as well as details of candidates found ineligible during the scrutiny process. The information has been made available on the official website of the Directorate of Education to facilitate transparency and provide applicants an opportunity to review their records.

Candidates who wish to raise claims or objections regarding their marks, eligibility status or any related matter have been directed to submit their representations exclusively through the online mode.

Officials stated that the online facility has been activated to receive claims and objections from applicants and will remain available until 11:59 PM on June 26, 2026.

The Directorate has clarified that only one submission will be accepted against each registration number. Applicants have therefore been advised to exercise due caution while filing their representations and ensure that submissions are concise and accurate.

The recruitment process pertains to the appointment of Craft Instructors in various vocational disciplines under the Directorate of Education. The publication of provisional marks and ineligible candidate lists forms part of the verification and review process before the recruitment exercise proceeds to its subsequent stages.

Candidates seeking further details have been advised to visit the official recruitment portal of the Directorate of Education at https://edurec.andamannicobar.gov.in and review the published lists and instructions regarding submission of claims and objections.

The Directorate has urged eligible applicants to examine their records carefully and submit any objections within the notified timeline, as no submissions will be accepted after the closure of the online portal on June 26, 2026.
