During the visit, the CDS reviewed the operational readiness of the ANC, ongoing infrastructure projects, and joint services integration among the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard. He highlighted the importance of seamless coordination to boost surveillance, deterrence, and rapid response capabilities in the strategically critical waters surrounding the islands.
General Chauhan addressed personnel of the Andaman and Nicobar Command, commending their professionalism, operational preparedness, and dedication to safeguarding national interests. He stressed the need for continued emphasis on jointness, adaptability, and operational excellence, urging personnel to remain ready to respond to emerging challenges.
