Andaman & Nicobar Fire Service Training Centre Achieves 100% Pass Rate

The Andaman and Nicobar Fire and Emergency Service Training Centre has marked a significant milestone with the successful completion of the 54th External Sub-Officers Course, in which all trainees passed, bringing nationwide recognition to the State Training Centre.

The course, which began on July 15, 2025, followed the conferment of State Training Centre status by the National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. This designation enabled the centre to conduct structured training programs adhering to national standards for fire and emergency service personnel.

Thirty fire service officials from leading organisations across India, including GAIL, Gujarat Fire Service, Bihar Fire Services, Maharashtra MIDC, and others, joined the programme to enhance their operational skills and professional knowledge. The participants underwent rigorous training sessions covering firefighting techniques, emergency response protocols, and leadership development, culminating in the prescribed examinations conducted as per NFSC norms.

The centre’s faculty played a pivotal role in the success of the course, providing expert guidance, practical demonstrations, and professional mentorship throughout the training period. Their dedication and expertise were acknowledged as a key factor behind the outstanding results achieved by all trainees.

Completion of the 54th External Sub-Officers Course highlights the centre’s growing importance as a hub for advanced fire and emergency services training, strengthening the operational capabilities of personnel deployed across India.
