Sri Vijaya Puram, May 30: On the occasion of Goa Foundation Day, heartfelt greetings were extended to the people of the State residing in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, celebrating its rich cultural legacy and journey of progress since becoming part of the Indian Union.

The message recalled Goa’s historic integration into India after centuries of colonial rule, marking a significant chapter in the nation’s democratic and cultural evolution. It recognized the contributions of Goa in fields such as tourism, education, environmental sustainability, and its unwavering commitment to democratic ideals.

Describing Goa as a vibrant state known for its picturesque landscapes, warm hospitality, and deep-rooted traditions, the message emphasized how the region continues to exemplify harmony between heritage and innovation. It also served as a reminder of the shared mission to build a developed, inclusive, and self-reliant India.

The message concluded with wishes for Goa’s continued prosperity and a reaffirmation of the belief that the State would continue to lead by example, blending tradition with sustainability and progress with inclusive growth, as part of the country’s ongoing mission to become a Viksit Bharat.
