Sri Vijaya Puram, November 5: The Andaman and Nicobar Administration has set November 9 as the deadline for tourism and hospitality businesses seeking to represent the islands at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2026 in New Delhi, with participants required to pay a fee of Rs. 30,000 and bear their own travel and accommodation expenses.
The Directorate of Information, Publicity and Tourism (IP&T) issued the invitation on November 4, seeking participation from registered and recognised tourism-sector organisations operating in the islands. The trade fair will take place from November 14 to 27 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, under the theme ‘Vikas aur Virasat’.
The invitation covers tour operators, boat operators, hotel associations, adventure and water sports service providers, travel agents and other recognised organisations engaged in tourism-related activities in the Union Territory. Interested applicants must submit a written consent letter to the Directorate of IP&T by 3 pm on November 9, confirming their willingness to participate.

The administration will allot exhibition space within the Andaman and Nicobar Pavilion on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. This makes early submission important for organisations seeking space at the fair.
Applicants must pay a participation fee of Rs. 30,000 through a demand draft drawn in favour of the Senior Accounts Officer, Directorate of IP&T. They must submit the demand draft along with their willingness letter.
The participation requirements also place the financial responsibility for travel and stay on the participating organisations. Selected stakeholders must independently arrange and cover transportation, boarding, lodging and other incidental expenses associated with attending the event.
The fair will provide a platform for tourism businesses from the islands to present their attractions, products, services and tourism experiences to visitors and industry representatives at a national-level exhibition. The administration has identified the event as an opportunity to increase the visibility of the islands and promote them as a tourism destination.
For further information and clarification regarding participation, interested organisations can contact the Manager (Tourism), Directorate of IP&T, at 9933255364.
