Mayabunder, Sept. 7: Candidates appearing for the Andaman and Nicobar Police recruitment process at the Mayabunder centre will undergo the Physical Measurement & Endurance Test (PM&ET) from September 9 to 15 at Netaji Stadium, with authorities issuing detailed instructions on reporting, documents and eligibility requirements.
The North and Middle Andaman District Police has advised candidates to check the instructions in their Admit Cards and Candidate Guidelines carefully and reach the venue well before the reporting date and time assigned to them.
Candidates must carry their Admit Card along with self-attested photocopies of the documents required for their respective post or category. The documents should be arranged and stapled in the prescribed sequence. Candidates have been specifically instructed not to bring original documents to the venue.
The required documents, wherever applicable, include the Aadhaar Card, essential educational qualification, trade or experience certificate, Class 10 or matriculation certificate for proof of date of birth, category certificate and driving licence.
Candidates must ensure that all documents needed to establish their eligibility are available before they report for the test. The recruitment authorities have also made clear that candidates will not be allowed to participate unless they possessed the prescribed valid certificates or documents on or before May 17, 2026, wherever the recruitment rules require possession by the closing date. Documents or certificates obtained or issued after the cut-off date will not be considered in such cases.
Candidates have also been directed to appear only on the date and at the reporting time specified in their Admit Card. Mobile phones and other prohibited electronic items will not be permitted at the PM&ET venue.
The advisory further bars candidates from using or attempting to use unfair means at any stage of the recruitment process. They have been asked to maintain discipline, comply with instructions issued by officials at the venue and report sufficiently early to allow time for document verification and other formalities.
Given the endurance component of the test, candidates have been advised to carry adequate drinking water and remain properly hydrated.
The North and Middle Andaman Police has also cautioned candidates against relying on recommendations, agents or intermediaries. The selection process will follow the prescribed recruitment rules and be based on merit.
Authorities said arrangements have been made for the conduct of the PM&ET and asked candidates to cooperate with personnel deployed at the venue and follow the instructions governing the recruitment process.
